SAFETY RULES

• All participants must sign an ATC Registration and Acknowledgment of Risk form before climbing;
• Illegal drugs and alcohol are prohibited on ATC activities;
• Use the shout signs;
• Smoking is not allowed at any climbing site or at any time in the trees. Where smoking is allowed it is restricted to specified areas. This restriction is necessary for fire safety as well as the comfort of others;
• Wear helmet at the climb area;
• Do not touch another climber’s rope;
• Go to the bathroom before climbing;
• Nothing in the pockets while climbing;
• No competition. It is a challenge by choice;
• Always get one of the guide`s attention before starting descending and wait for his permission;
• If you hear a whistle blow stop every activity and pay attention;
• Respect the tree, the environment and fellow climbers;
• Bring back everything you take to Nature;
• Do not take anything from Nature, leave it as you found it;
• You will be climbing in sensitive environmental locations. We limit our impact by walking carefully and leaving no trace;
• Long hair must be securely tied back to prevent it from catching in your climbing equipment. Jewelry should be taken of for the same reason;
• This is a guided climbing experience and as such does not qualify you to safely climb independently or with other recreational climbers.
