Amazon Tree Climbing was planned by it`s creators as an answer to a search of a sustainable practice for the Amazon, which was an outdoor activity, in touch with nature and that could sensitize people to the value of the standing forest.
 
Everything started in 2006 with rock climbers that after travelling around the globe getting to know and practicing several outdoor sports, found at the Amazon a safe peer and a thrilling universe to be experienced. They joined the old climbing passion with specific tree climbing techniques, creating what is known today as Amazon Tree Climbing, the first recreational tree climbing company in Brazil.
 
The transition from rock climbing to tree climbing was brought from USA which has the most advanced techniques on the segment, unknown in Brazil so far. 

The activity came aligned to a social and environmental conscience, respecting the biodiversity, using minimal impact techniques and also promoting the value of local culture and tradition. Amazon Tree Climbing is a new way to see, feel and experience the Amazon. And much more… discover it yourself!
